Toronto Mayor John Tory & Sasha Jacob Visits Sri Lanka

Toronto Mayor, John Tory, along with several Canadian government representatives, came to the celebration of the commencement of Ceylon Graphite in Sri Lanka.  Mayor Tory and the representatives will be the honored guests of Ceylon Graphite’s reception in Colombo. They will be joined by Sri Lankan political and business leaders. The reception will acknowledge the history of the most important investment in Sri Lanka by Ceylon Graphite founder, global leader Sasha Jacob, and Jacob Capital Management Inc.

The ceremony will also discuss the revitalization of international demand for pure vein graphite. The honored guests will later be ushered to the company’s first priority historic mine site for the ribbon cutting. This will symbolize the continuation of commercial operations in the historic mine sites of Sri Lanka.
About Ceylon Graphite
Ceylon Graphite is a public company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. The company is operating to explore and develop lump vein graphite mines in Sri Lanka. Ceylon Graphite has obtained exploration rights in a land package over 100km sq. of exploration grids from the country’s government. The given exploration site covers all of the relevant areas that hold historical records for holding graphite from the 1900’s to the 1930’s. These areas of land represent the majority of the government’s known vein graphite occurrence in Sri Lanka. The company earned its fame for their unique and high-quality graphite compared to normal flake graphite. Its global demand has dramatically increased in the recent years due to technological advance. Graphite is the key ingredient in Lithium-ion batteries and with the growth in production of electric vehicles, the firm needs to keep up.
In addition, Sasha Jacob has been elected as the company’s senior advisor. Sasha Jacob Toronto is a reputable global leader for leading its firm towards becoming the pioneer financial advisory firm to focus on renewable energy in Canada. Jacob Capital Management Inc. focuses on a comprehensive coverage of the renewable energy spectrum. Bharat Parashar, CEO of Ceylon Graphite Corp. in Sri Lanka, expresses his excitement over the honored guest's visit. “We are delighted to host Mayor Tory and Canadian official as we bring new investment to Sri Lanka,” Mr. Parashar said in a statement. “Sri Lanka has long had the world’s best resource for pure vein graphite and we will soon have one of the world’s largest mines of its kind, providing the key resource in lithium ion batteries for the burgeoning electric car market,” he further added.
The opening of Ceylon Graphite Corp. in Sri Lanka marks another milestone for the global graphite industry. The country’s abundant resources will surely go a long way in the advancement of Sri Lanka as well as the development of other industries.
